About Everest Active Gear
The word adventure means an “exciting or unusual experience” It is for these experiences that Everest Active Gear was started. Out of our passionate obsession for the outdoors, and hiking and travel adventures, we have spent many years roaming continents, climbing mountains, crossing oceans—and we’ve found a hammock is an essential travel companion. There is something so majestic, peaceful and compelling about being in nature, swinging freely in a hammock.

Nature is our Therapy
It’s when we truly rely on our equipment that we realize it has an integral role in both ensuring our comfort and our overall experience of being in nature. We have learnt this importance from our own personal experiences over many years. For this reason is has been a passion to develop Everest Active Gear hammocks and equipment. Our camping hammocks are lightweight, super portable and a perfect, environmentally low impact shelter.
Our Mission
It’s often said that the price of greatness is responsibility, and this also applies to our company. Everest Active Gear is a small company with a big passion to treat the environment we very much enjoy in our recreation with a sense of awe and responsibility.
We grew up as children spending hours in the woods at any opportunity we could. Today we still have this passion and it is this sense of freedom that has inspired what we do today. There is still something so special about being in the wilderness, hiking a trail or sleeping under the stars.
