Adventure Dry-Fly
One great advantage of hammock camping with tarps is that in adverse conditions, rain, wind, snow you can set up the tarp first and then keep your gear dry as you then set up your hammock. It is generally agreed that full-coverage tarps, or “winter” tarps are best for all season camping. Our Adventure Dry Fly offers a traditional shape Catenary or Cat-Cut Tarp. The Design incorporates special curved cuts to further reduce the weight of a rectangular tarp. This also prevents the tarp from sagging or flapping in wind. This offers you the best protection from the elements while keeping size and weight to a minimum.

Features
For us waterproof means that all fabric has been coated with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) which is a polyurethane (PU) coating and the seams have been factory-taped, making that area of the tarp impermeable to water, “mm” refers to millimeters and is paired with a number to represent a standardized measurement of how waterproof a coating is against hydrostatic head pressure. For instance, 3000mm coating will withstand a 3000mm (10′) column of water for more than one minute before a single drop might appear through the fabric. That’s strong enough to prevent rain from leaking through in the most extreme conditions, and this is the material we use for our Rain Tarps. The fabric is Ripstop Nylon and treated in addition with a UV inhibitor, making it resistant to color fading.
